We got a bit of flack for mentioning a rumour the other day, without explaining it, so here we go. We’re pretty confident of this now! I guess the Cabinet Office couldn’t announce John Collington’s imminent departure from his post as UK Government CPO until after his Minister Francis Maude’s backside kicking session with top suppliers yesterday. It might have distracted from the key message. But it is getting a bit ridiculous that it hasn’t been announced, when it seems like everyone in public procurement, and much of the supply market knows!
